Thanks to the Thirteen of you who have voted in the TAFG poll and the results are interesting. This week I asked who you think is the person of the decade and suprise, suprise it was David Tennant and i completely agree with you he is a absolute legend!I would have put Harry Hill next myself but Catherine Tate is a brilliant lady and as my only female choice i think she proves that the girls can be just as good as the boys. The most suprising is that Simon Cowell got one measly vote! Im glad though as i do despise him. Thanks for voting again and the day after tommoro sees the start of my Comedy month (because of David Tennants departure i think i need to do a special post) which will kick the year off with a laugh. Happy new Year everyone!

TV Spotlight: Outnumberd Christmas Special

This year the Christmas special's have been a bit hit and miss.We had the suprisingly hilarious "The Royle Family" and the flamin awful "Victoria Woods Midlife Christmas" so hopefully Outnumbered will finnish the Yuletide season off well.

It's Boxing Day in the Brockman household. Santa has visited but, unfortunately, so has a burglar. Sharp seven-year-old Karen (Ramona Marquez), forever preoccupied with the little things in life, is obsessing about a missing hamster, while destructive Ben (Daniel Roche) has fun with a mechanical hand. Eldest son Jake (Tyger Drew-Honey) is, meanwhile, helping his mum to find a wandering aged relative. A new series starts early next year.

TV Spotlight: Not going Out

Tonight we get to see the last episode of Not Going Out which stars Lee Mack, TimVine and Miranda Hart. The series was stupidly axed by the BBC at the end of its third series so i guess we will have to savour the 30 mins of brilliant one liners and intellegent comedy thats scarce these days.Watch it tonight on BBC1 at 10:45pm

Lee's father turns up at the flat unannounced. This is the man who walked out of the family home when Lee was four, never paid his maintenance and ate Lee's goldfish. Lee wants him out of the flat, but Lucy tells him that the only way forward is to forgive and forget. Unfortunately, Lee's dad's behaviour makes this virtually impossible for Lee to achieve. Sounds like a gud'un!

TV Spotlight:The Fattest Man in Britain

A new ITV one off comedy drama hits our screens tonight at 9:00pm and features the acting talents of Timothy Spall and Bobby Ball one half of Cannon and Ball.

Morris Morrissey (Bobby Ball) is a part time taxi driver and full-time personal manager to the one and only Georgie Godwin (Timothy Spall), who is convinced he holds the title of 'Fattest Man In Britain'. Combining both his roles, Morris keeps Georgie well fed and watered then brings taxi loads of tourists to gawp at the "eighth wonder of the world". It's 23 years since Georgie left his house and he relies on Morris and Janice to survive.

Morris engineers Georgie a shot at the big time when he is asked to take part in a live weigh off with his rival Big Brian on the local TV news. Georgie sets about gorging on food like he has never done so before and is helped along by his friends and neighbours who bring him a steady stream of meals and snacks - from curries and samosas to lemon meringue pies and bags of broken biscuits.

Will Georgie reign triumphant in the weigh in or will Big Brian take his title?

Wogan and O'Grady leave shows

Today sees a sad day in broadcasting history. This morning Sir Terry Wogan waved goodbye to his morning Radio 2 weekday slot after a staggering 27 years on the airwaves and Paul O'Grady left his 5:00pm show on Channel 4. Terry closed today's programme by telling his listeners that "the years together with you have not only been a pleasure but a privilege".Wogan also expressed his hope that the breakfast audience will welcome new host Chris Evans "with the same generosity of spirit that you've always shown me". In February, Wogan will return to Radio 2 to host a new Sunday show.

Paul O'Grady pays tribute to his viewers at the end of the show by saying "I just wanted to say thank you, all of you. This has been the best job in my life. I've been through a lot. My partner dying, my dog dying, two heart attacks. Becoming a granddad!"I've been through so much but I have to thank you, my audience, you've got me through. You've been great with all your letters and emails. My crew, everyone in the office, they are brilliant."The Birkenhead-born star is leaving Channel 4 to launch a new primetime Friday night programme on ITV1 next year.Terry we will miss your dulcet tones in the morning and Paul we will miss you'r comedy and not so dulcet tones in the afternoon.
